The Spanish automotive sector considers the citizen to be the true protagonist and active agent in the process of Spanish decarbonization. So concluded Neutral in Motion (NIM) at the event “The engine of smart and sustainable change” held this morning in Madrid on the occasion of World Cities Day.
During the event, which for the first time brought together publicly all the representatives of the main Spanish automotive associations*, the enormous effort that the mobility sector has been making for years to achieve the goal of making Europe the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 was highlighted.
The different associations that make up NIM, from each of their sectors, have stated that they are fully committed to environmental objectives by promoting more sustainable mobility through the adoption of measures and strategies that will allow our country to continue to make progress in the necessary renewal of the fleet, through the manufacture and marketing of new low-emission vehicles.
